SLEEQ began to gain attention with the release of two mixtapes, <Weekly Sleeq> and <Youth> in 2012, officially debuted in 2013 with the single [Lightness]. Since her debut, she has consistently released singles such as [Rap Tight], [Classism], and [Energy/Python], continuing her music career. Her first full-length album, [COLOSSUS], achieved the remarkable feat of winning the "Underrated Album of the Year" award at the 2017 Korean Hip-Hop Awards. She began to make a name for herself with the general public when she appeared on <GOOD GIRL: Who Robbed the Station> in 2020. With her heavy and sincere rapping, SLEEQ seamlessly collaborates with artists from various genres like Paul Kim and Ailee, dispelling the misconception that hip-hop cannot blend with other genres. Declaring, "If misogyny and discrimination against women define hip-hop, then I will quit," she has stood firm against prejudices about women, earning passionate support from a deep fan base.
