고등학생이던 2015년 슈퍼스타 K7에 출연하여 싱어송라이터로서 주목받은 박소은은 2016년 스무 살의 나이로 '유재하 음악경연대회'에 입상하며 대중에게 눈도장을 찍었다. 일찍이 작곡 실력을 인정받은 만큼 정규 1집 <고강동>(2020)의 수록곡이 골고루 리스너들의 마음에 안착하며 매일같이 쏟아지는 음원들 사이에서 돋보이는 개성적인 싱어송라이터로 주목받았다. Park So-eun first gained attention as a singer-songwriter in 2015 when she appeared on Superstar K7 as a high school student. In 2016, at the age of 20, she made her mark on the public by winning an award at the Yoo Jae-ha Music Concour. Recognized early for her composition skills, the tracks from her first full-length album, <Gogang-dong> (2020), resonated with listeners, distinguishing her as a unique singer-songwriter amidst the daily influx of new music. Declaring that "It’s unfair that only beautiful things are considered art," she released her second full-length album, <Recycle> (2022), compiling her sad and painful emotions and solidifying her place as a growing artist unafraid of new challenges. The bold yet delicate sound, showcasing diverse genre-crossing attempts, reaffirmed her musical spectrum.
The 2023 EP <Timeline> captures significant moments from her early twenties that made her laugh and cry, earning acclaim for presenting a musically matured artist. Currently, with the release of the single <You and I> in 2024, she continues to grow by telling stories of love and life.
