모든 순간을 노래하는 밴드.
따스함과 서늘함 사이에 자리 잡은 다양성의 음악은 말 그대로 다양한 색깔들이 가득한 한 편의 동화를 읽는 것 같은 아련한 향수를 자극한다. 파랑과 노랑 사이에 초록이 있으며, 그 사이를 파고들수록 알 수 없는 이름들의 색깔들이 있듯 일상 속 희로애락 사이에 숨어, 뭐라 말할 수 없이 미묘해져 버린 마음들을 꺼내어 노래하는 다양성은 이름 그 자체인 ‘다양성'으로 나타났다.
다양성은 마포음악창작소에서 시행한 2023 인디열전에서 40대 1의 경쟁률을 뚫고 최종 10팀에 선정되어 실력을 입증하였으며 2023 KT&G 상상마당 홍대 음악지원사업 "밴드 디스커버리" TOP 6에 선정, 펜타포트 신인 아티스트 발굴 프로젝트“2024 PENTA SUPER ROOKIE”에서 당당히 대상을 거머쥐며 스타의 탄생을 예고했다.
이어 발리에서 열린 국제적인 페스티벌인 AXEAN Festival에 참여하여 발군의 실력을 보여주었다.
2024년 9월 EP <시>를 발매하며 더욱 몽환적이고 밀도깊은 연주와
특유의 가사로 아픔과 성찰의 모습을 보여주었다.
The band that sings every moment.
Dayangsung is a South Korean alternative rock band that has
been captivating audiences with their unique blend of acousticand electronic sounds since their debut in 2021. The band’sname, "Dayangsung," translates to "diversity" or "variety" in Korean, and this concept is truly reflected in their music.
Dayangsung is not afraid to experiment with different genres
and styles, resulting in a sound that is as diverse as it is captivating.
Their own fantastic expressions began to be well received by
critics and the public, with KT&G Sangsang Madang Hongdae Music Support Project "Band Discovery" TOP6 being selected as the final 10 teams for the Mapo Music Creation "Indie Exhibition" in 2023. They showed their potential as a rising band by winning the Pentaport Super Rookie in 2024.
Also, they participated in the AXEAN Festival, an internationalfestival in Bali, to show off their outstanding ability.
